Dr. Shilpa Terance is a dedicated Maternal and Child Health Specialist with a comprehensive medical and administrative background. She completed her MBBS at Fr Muller’s Medical College in Mangalore and pursued an MBA in Hospital Management at Anna University. Additionally, she holds a Diploma in Maternal and Child Health and a Post-Graduate Certificate in Child and Adolescent Mental Health.
Dr. Shilpa serves as a consultant at ICC Charitable Hospital and AJ Medical Centre in Coimbatore. She also offers her expertise voluntarily as an honorary doctor at Don Bosco Anbu Illam, providing care for orphans and street children. Dr. Shilpa has extensive experience in running health camps for children, offering lactation counseling, and addressing maternal and child health issues.
Dr. Shilpa is passionate about child and youth mental health, with a particular focus on parent education and counseling. She is a certified facilitator in the Pathways to Effective Parenting (PEP) program and has been actively involved in organizing and facilitating events such as summer camps aimed at child development.
